To speed the process we will send either Adobe Acrobat PDF's
or jpeg attachments (your choice) to your email address provided on the
solutions proposal. Alternatively, you will be able to download your logo
directly from your personal page. Different formats and applications are
available to you by request. All files can be delivered on Mac and/or
PC disks for complete compatibility for third party service providers
(i.e.: film/art service bureaus and/or printers).

What formats are my logo delivered in?
This
can vary depending on usage, but a general package consists of the following:
1) Vector based format (i.e.: Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw). This
is a scalable version useful for print production.
2) A bitmap, 300 dpi JPEG version. This versatile format can be imported
into most Mac and PC programs. These formats are sufficient for most applications
(desktop publishing, word processing, web, etc). Should you require any
further formats, we have the software, experience and ability to produce
files and/or hard copies for any use.

Who owns the copyright?
D.I.Y.
Logo retains the copyright to the actual artwork while granting the client
unlimited use of the image once the invoice has been paid in full. D.I.Y.

not chosen during the development process and they remain the property
of D.I.Y.

16.) Three
steps to a logo seems too simple?
One
of our main goals when creating D.I.Y. Logo was to create a process which
simplified the logo design process. Coming from large agency backgrounds
we often saw corporations spend several thousand dollars to create a logo
and brand identity. Most of this money was wasted. The problems typically
came from lack of focus, too many intermediaries (account executives,
archaic billing structures, overhead) and decisions being made by a committee-trying
to "please all of the people all the time." The concept of a camel being
a horse designed by a committee comes to mind. By having the client fill
out the solutions proposal form, we are able to focus everyone involved,
we remain flexible but it becomes our roadmap and checkpoint to the final
solution in giving you what you want.

17.) What
if I'm not happy with the results?
In
all our years this has rarely happened. Generally once we have reviewed
your input and get a handle on your design tastes, it is usually a fairly
simple matter to translate into a design solution that is both on target
and visually pleasing. Since designing a logo is more of an art than a
science, it can be a very subjective process, but are aim is to make you
happy. However, if at any time you are unhappy with the product/service
we deliver you may request a full refund.

18.) Can
you work with my service bureau, printer, webmaster?
An
excellent idea. Sometimes technical terms thrown around can get confusing
and cause problems. If you need to help with files we will be happy to
help out, at our hourly rate of $100 billable in 1/4 hour increments.
It may sound expensive but the cost savings in getting it done right the
first time outweigh our fee.

designing your logo. Much of the preliminary work that goes into the marketing
of your product or service has already been completed, and transferring

Your logo is stored in our archives so it is a breeze for us to create
other marketing pieces. Our experience, and familiarity with your company
and logo requirements is easily transferred to these new pieces. Once
clients become accustomed to our friendly service and easy working procedures
it is hard for them to work with designers any other way.
